This is so true for every creative industry! We have clothed ourselves in cliches! Our behaviour is so much defined by the what people expect to us behave; almost living in simulation where the remote in someone else hands.
I’m interviewing/working on a project about adult/work bullying and after asking around for views, the victims with the worst/most horrific experiences have worked in fashion. Fashion can do better, but it has to start from the top. You can’t have a toxic queen bee & expect everyone else to not to be.
Happy to see recognition of these issues, I dropped out of my design school last year. Seeing how something I love is weaponized to hurt everyone in vicinity to the bubble hurt me a lot. I hope to make my own way without bringing such pain to others. The internet is a far better resource than unethical professors.
First!!!!
I love this ... can I have it printed on an organic - dead stock t shirt please ? 😜😜😜💌
We need merch

This resonates with me on a very personal level. However I’m attempting to address Fashion’s dirty secrets. Someone needs to.
Thank you for the honesty. Something this industry needs desperately

Truth! Thank you 🙏🏽
So sad to see this discourse applies also to fashion academia
